Mitigating risk is the key here!
I actively implement a swiss-cheese mitigation strategy that includes up to date vaccinations, frequent testing, masking in all shared spaces, and active air filtration and ventilation.
You get to relax and enjoy getting photographed with a little less distraction thinking about airborne pathogens too.
This about more than simply preventing illness (although a massive upside), it's a human-centered practice in community care and disability justice.
